We are a group that works to address oppression and inequity in science by organising an annual event at the Canadian Society for Ecology and Evolution (CSEE) annual meeting. Our events are aimed at promoting engagement and participation in initiatives working towards cultivating a sense of belonging, inclusion, and respect in science within and beyond academia. Over the years, SWEEET has gained traction as a fundamental part of the annual CSEE meetings.
